She was predeceased by: her parents, Stan Ponting and Olive Ponting; her sister Eleanor Roche; and her brothers-in-law, Allan and Doug Dietrich.

She is survived by: her husband Bruce; her children, Kerry Colantonio, Nick Colantonio of Toronto, Rachel Romondt and Egon van Romondt of Milton; her grandchildren, Olivia, Alessandra, Zachary and Ryan; and her siblings, Gladys (Jim Drever), Lynda (Jerry Pankratz), Patricia (John Sutherland), Mike Roche of Oshawa, Yvonne Dietrich of Waterloo, Peggy Dietrich of Waterloo, Rose (Art Missere) and Roy (Rose Dietrich). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews and her many friends.
