He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Shaw of Port Dover and Eliza Shaw of Port Dover; and his siblings, Norval of Hamilton and Bernice of Mississauga. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley; his children, Lisa Marranca (Tom) of Burlington and Paul Shaw (Sharon) of Mississauga; his grandchildren, Justin and Erin (Hiller); his great grandchildren, Davin and Kailey; his sibling Vangie Post of Port Dover; and his sibling-in-law Gary Bodden (Marlene) of Hamilton.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army or Compass Point Bible Church would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
