Marjorie Porter Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Porter of Port Dover, Ontario, who passed away on July 13, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marjorie Porter to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas; her sons, David and Delos; her parents, Blake and Evelyn (Meade); her brother Jack; her brother-in-law Neil; and her daughter-in-law Ann.

She is survived by: her children, Carol, Rick, Cathy (Don Maxwell) and Diane (Laura); her grandchildren, Brennan (Heather), Nathan (Katie), Josh Maxwell (Melanie), Tasha (Phil Dragstra), Nick, Stacey and Stephanie Porter (Brennan Kovacevich); her great grandchildren, Robbie, Caleb, Liam, Ezra, Delia and Sophie; and her sister-in-law Evelyn. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

The family encourages everyone in attendance to please wear a mask.

In 2011, she received a Circle of Excellence Award from the Ontario Long Term Care Association recognizing her contribution to Dover Cliffs where she organized craft sessions for the residents and assisted with the weekly church service.
