He was predeceased by: his sisters, Rita and Jean. He is survived by: his wife Julia; his children, Elaine, David, Allison and Christopher Wm Smith; his siblings, Richard, Pat, Mary and Dianne; and his grandchildren, Louisa, Erin and Sara.
