She was predeceased by: her husband Colin; her parents, Kenneth Evans and Reta Evans; her granddaughter Brooke Smith; and her siblings, Dale Evans and Cindy Gaston.

She is survived by: her children, Charlene Smith (Ronald Haantjes) of Carlisle, Carl Smith of Simcoe and Colleen Smith of New Brunswick; her grandchild Geoff Pleli (Jordan); her great grandchildren, Keith and Blake; and her sisters, Diane Telfer of Port Dover, Jane Kapel of Port Dover, Miriam MacKenzie of Port Dover and Wendy Evans of Port Dover. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews.
