He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred and Ellen; his wife Betty; his children, Gary Sinden, Cheryl Ryerse and Robert Sinden (Judy) of Walsh; and his siblings, Bus Sinden, Allan Sinden and Hazel Sullivan.

He is survived by: his child Dale Sinden (Helen) of Walsh; his brothers, Bill Sinden of Port Dover and Larry Sinden of Vittoria; his grandchildren, Dwayne Ryerse (Nicole), Nathan Ryerse, Amanda Sinden (Jesse), Jeremy Sinden, Austin Sinden, Jessica Sinden, Kelsey Sinden, Matt and Ashley; and his great grandchildren, Lucan, Madison, Skyelar and Harlan. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
