He was predeceased by: his wife Jean; and his siblings, Douglas Ryerse and Patty Gamble. He is survived by: his children, Eric (Krissie), Nina Bell (Robert) of Port Dover and Lori Johnston (Brian) of Port Dover; his grandchildren, Channing (Theresa), Carlee, Jason (Kaitlyn) and Olivia (Cassie); and his great grandchildren, Noah, Reese, Tyler, Lucas, Curtis, Madyn and Elora.
For those wishing donations, the Ronald McDonald House Charities or St Paul's Anglican Church would be greatly appreciated by the family.
