Wouter Doornekamp Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wouter Doornekamp (Port Colborne, Ontario), who passed away on October 18, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Janna; his son John; his son-in-law Shane Wright; and his siblings, Dirkje, Trijntje, Aleida, Willem, Melis and Marinus.

He is survived by: his children, Maartje Wright and Wally (Melanie); his daughter-in-law Lynne; his grandchildren, Dianna Drzazga, Nedra, Carolyn, Danny, Grant Doornekamp, Brien Wright, Stephen Doornekamp and Melissa Bertoia; his great grandchildren, Nathan, Mia, Keala, Nolan, Willa, Dominick and Maverick; and his sister Maartje.

Due to Covid restrictions, there will be a private family graveside service at Maple Lawn Cemetery at a later date.
