He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth; his siblings, Douglas Skanes (Barb), Cheryl Hawco (Glen), Derek Skanes, Michelle Skanes (Don) and Elizabeth Braunbarth Christopher Skanes (Sheri); and his close friend Shelly Piper. He is also survived by his many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.
