He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Macdonald; and his parents, George Macdonald and Dorothy Macdonald. He is survived by: his children, Bill Macdonald (Loretta), Barbara Archer (Michael) and Kim Jackson (Michael); his grandchildren, Kevin (Stephanie), Tasha, Lauren (Paul), Melanie (Ryan), Kirsten (Eric), Sara, Myles and Mallorey; his great grandchildren, Ellie Grace, David, Robert, Samuel, Maxwell, Owen and Joel; his siblings, George Macdonald (Ann) and Lynda Gare (Sharon); and his friends, Bill and Margaret. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
