She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Smith (Jerry); her parents, Laurenza Madere and Grace Smith; her granddaughter Angel; and her siblings, Lionel, Jeannine, Alice, Lou, Leo, Gerald, Lucien and Ebert.

She is survived by: her children, Bryan (Carrie), Cindy Bode (Chris), Cheryl Naughton (late Don) and Karen Millett (late Wayne); her grandchildren, Gerald, Colin (Marie), Brendon (Shan), Trevor (Krystal), Nicole, Ryan, Braden (Arianna), Justin (Meagan) and Tyler; her siblings, Annette Ostryhon (Nick) and Gesselle Tokar (Tom); and her sisters-in-law, Sharon Meyer (late Bob) and Bonnie Latondresse (Robin Jones). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Port Colborne.
