Sonya Canter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 18, 2022, at the age of 85, Sonya Canter of Port Colborne, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mariona and Sam; and her siblings, Dora, Pearl, Johnny and Pete.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Piraino (Michael), Brian Canter (Sylvie), Nadine Gibson (Ron) and Brett Canter (Tami Harper). She is also survived by many nieces and cousins.
If so desired memorial donations may be made in her name to the Welland and District Humane Society, Port Colborne Site, Niagara Children's Centre or The Hospital for Sick Children's Foundation in Toronto.
