Neil B. Tripp Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Neil B. Tripp (Port Colborne, Ontario), who passed away on November 24, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Lloyd, Fern, Allen and Joyce. He is survived by: his wife Alice (Beam); his children, Charlene (Gerard), Philip (Jen), Carolyn (Ron) and Rose (Chris); his grandchildren, Adriane, Nathan, Darren, Natasha, Steven, Cody, Derek, Brooke and Austin; his great grandchildren, Nora and Luna; and his sister Phyllis Wilhelm.

Due to Covid-19, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at later time when it is safe to do so.

“Having a middle name of Benjamin speaks of how precious this man was to his own parents - Walter & Georgina. And with me having a middle name of Neil, I will carry my dear uncle's legacy with me until I also meet my Maker. Although I saw less of him after moving away from Southern Ontario in the 70s, what I did experience spoke to me of how he was a good listener and not afraid to ask questions. He was a devout family man and a fine provider - one who will be sorely missed yet forever loved <><”

“So very sorry to hear of the loss of this great man. Uncle to me, he had the genuine qualities of an ideal person who was always a joy to know. A talented carpenter by trade, honest, humble, fair, and loving in his approach to life, we will remember him too for his boisterous laugh and wonderful sense of humour. To Aunt Alice, Charlene, Philip, Carolyn, Rosie and their families, we wish God's powerful healing and comfort. Cherish the memories of the good times, for they were many.”
