She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Jennifer Garrison and Daniel Melanson; her parent Guadalupe Chavez; her brother Esteban Jr. Chavez (Angelica); her parents-in-law, Jack and Debbie Melanson; and her siblings-in-law, Chester Melanson and Sonya Wilson (Shawn). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
