Joseph Cassar Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Cassar (Port Colborne, Ontario), who passed away on September 15, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Cassar and Carmella Cassar; his siblings, Victor, Anthony, Mary Ciantar, Teresa Catania and Vivian Ryan; and his granddaughter Emily Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Melita Cassar; his daughters, Josephine Embree (Stephen), Carmen Lannan (Thomas) and Barbara Brown (Christopher); his grandchildren, Ryan Lannan (Lindsay), Eric Embree (Taylor), Matthew Lannan (Michelle), Gregory Embree (Katherine), Sarah Embree and Megan Brown; his great grandchildren, Samuel, Jacob Lannan, Elliot, Colin Embree and Lochlan Lannan; and his sisters, Louise Sullivan (Art) and Jane Cassar. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In memory of Joe, as per his wishes, donations can be made to St. Therese of Lisieux parish in Port Colborne and the Port Colborne Minor Hockey Association.
