She was predeceased by: her husband Floyd Burkett; her daughter Cheryl Tilson (Mark); her parents, Frederick Stuckless and Theresa Stuckless (Rowsell); and her brother Martin Stuckless.
She is survived by: her children, Karin Philp (Paul) of Dartmouth, Carl Burkett (Janice) of Kanata, Ontario, Nancy Butler (Kirby) of Breslau and Lori Smith (Glen) of Mississauga, Ontario.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
