Ida Punyi Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 24, 2024, at the age of 91, Ida Punyi (Port Colborne, Ontario), born in Niagara Falls, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Guiseppe Virginio and Rena Cavasin of Veneto; her brother Romeo; her sister-in-law Grace Cavasin; her sister Jo-Ann Holland; and her sister-in-law Jackie Cavasin.

She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Punyi; her brother Norman Cavasin; her brother-in-law Jim Holland; her children, Diana Mathisen (Dave), Paul (Maureen), Laurie Tennant (David) and David; her grandchildren, Herb (Maggie), Haley (Devon), Matthew (Heather), Jeff (Emily), Connor and Mackenzie; and her great grandchildren, Arlo and Annie. She is also survived by her family and friends.
