He was predeceased by: his former wives, Barbara and Peggy; his stepson Michael Richard; and his parents, Frederick Cronshaw and Lillian Cronshaw.

He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his children, Fred Jr. (Joss), David (Donna), Mark (Rhonda) and Sandi Knapman (John); his stepchildren, Lisa (John), Rodney, Cindy and Carol (Remi); his grandchildren, Bill (Shelley), Tyler (Shelley), James (Laura), Ryan (Jackie), Todd, Aubry (Mike), Alex, Gregory and Eythan; his stepgrandchildren, Paige, Farrah, Cassy, T. J., Dionne (Devin) and Michelle; and his sister Doris Hodgson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
