It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Beckett (Port Colborne, Ontario), born in Simcoe, Ontario, who passed away on November 16, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert Gordon Beckett; her children, Doug Beckett (Jan), Andrea Borsy (Andy) and Nancy Ball; her grandchildren, Emily Bridge (Deon), James Beckett (Keyla), Carolyn Zadro (Eric), Rebecca Wagner (Justin), Sarah Feduck (Spencer), Scott Hudson (Jennifer) and Steven Hudson (Lailanie Gaoayen); her great grandchildren, Dexter Bridge, Jacob, Maia Lopez-Beckett, Arthur, Maggie, Michael, Clare, Aurelia Zadro, Gavin, Joel Wagner, Benjamin, Brooklyn and Owen Hudson; and her parents, Grace Ryckman and James Ryckman.
Eleanor entered long term care during the first year of the pandemic and the family would like to thank the staff of Gilmore Lodge for treating Eleanor with great kindness, care and respect during an especially difficult time.
