He was predeceased by: his wife Bette Jean; and his siblings, Mary (George Hobbs) and George. He is survived by: his children, Ted (Donna) and Dawn Ruiter (late John); his grandchildren, Taylor (Dawn), Rebecca Scarlett (Tom) and Joshua (Joanna); his great grandchildren, Emma, Jacob Kalailieff, Andrew, Owen Scarlett and Ella Kalailieff; and his sisters, Margaret Buchanan (late Donald) and Maye Asselin (Norm). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to Port Colborne Operatic Society, Peninsula Orchestra, St James/St Brendan Choir, or a charity of your choice in Ed's name would be greatly appreciated.
