He was predeceased by: his parents, John Simon and Kathleen Simon; his son Chad Dennis Simon; and his parents-in-law, Claire and Maureen McCaffery.

He is survived by: his wife Pat; his grandson Christopher Keating; and his brothers, John (Lynda) and Paul (Margaret).

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Davidson Funeral Home (135 Clarence St, Port Colborne, ON L3K3G4). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Chad Simon Memorial Scholarship Fund or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.
