He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Nicola Mercer (Doug Choong), Michelle Mercer (John Williams), Claire Miller (Jean Aubrey-Morin) and Erica Mercer; his grandchildren, Emily, Lydia, Grace "Marli" and Jonathan; his sister Diana Talbot (Tom); his siblings-in-law, Garth Manley and Denise Norris (late James); his cousin Tony Potter (Doreen) of Burlington; and his nieces and nephews, Jane Talbot, Anna Stevens (Richard), Andrew Manley, David Manley and Cheryl Manley.
