It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Caterina Buri (Port Colborne, Ontario), who passed away on March 11, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Caterina is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Caterina's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband Renato. She is survived by: her children, Dennis Buri (Cyndie) and Nadia (Dan Herrmann); and her sister Maria Monticolo.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Armstrong Funeral Home & Chapel (179 Clarence St, Port Colborne, ON L3K3G4). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Therese of Lisieux Roman Catholic Church (379 Fares St, Port Colborne, ON L3K1W9). A committal service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mount St Joseph Cemetery (712 Lakeshore Rd E, Port Colborne, ON L3K5V3).
