He was predeceased by: his wife Donna; his sisters, Muriel Madere, Eleanor Coutu and Ruth Kanen; his stepson Ron; and his grandson Christopher.
He is survived by: his sisters, Evelyn Bitner and Shirley Kadwell; his stepdaughter Donna Patricia Jacobson (Gary); his grandchildren, Kim, Shelley, Ryan and Brenda; his great grandchild Bryn; and his stepson Roy. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
