She was predeceased by: her husband Nick Jonas; her parents, John Schmidt and Jolan Schmidt; her brother John Schmidt (Mary); and her siblings-in-law, Wilma Kiraly (Albert) and Frank Kovacs.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Jonas (Mary Ellen), John Jonas (Lisa) and Nancy Jonas; her grandchildren, Shannon Jonas and Julie Jonas (Mike); her great grandchildren, Jaidyn Jonas, Taylor and Nathan Wilmot; her brother Ed Schmidt (Claudia); and her sister-in-law Margaret Kovacs. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
