He was predeceased by: his children, Karen Phillips-Tait and James; his parents, Lyal and Rose; and his sister Vivian Tait.
He is survived by: his wife Dora; his children, Darlene Roesch (Bill), Christine Ringland (Bud Browne) and Lyal Tait; his grandchildren, Heather Williams, Robin Roesch, Nadine Sharpe (Greg) and Nicole Tait (Chad Rieck); his great grandchildren, Kyler Williams, Ruby Williams, Caden Tait, Evelyn, Jackson Sharp and Lilly Sharp; and his sibling Margurite Foster.
