She was predeceased by: her husband Norman "Fred" Brain; her parents, Gord and Lyla; and her siblings, Jack, Foster and Barbara Sitzes (Dalt).

She is survived by: her daughters, Catharine Bouchard, Patricia Brain, Karen Saar and Anne-Marie Adamek (Bernie); her grandchildren, Kelly Bouchard (Taylor), Lindsay Bouchard, Katlyn Saar, Shaelyn Adamek, Corinne Kershaw (Doug) and Karl Adamek; her great grandchildren, John, Alex, Kennedy, Boden, Kinley, Oceanna and Arawyn; her brothers, Jim Burgess (Sharon), Bill Burgess (Judy) and Don Burgess; and her siblings-in-law, Liz, Bunny Keilt, Alberta, Greg McCormack and Jerry Brain. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
