He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Hofstetter; his granddaughter Kailey; his daughter-in-law Margaret; his parents, Walter Hofstetter and Phoebe Hofstetter (Snyder); and his siblings, Harold, Floyd, Earl, Glen, John, Harry, Reid, Jean Ross, Ruby Ament, Marjorie Littlejohns and Helen Hofstetter.
He is survived by: his children, Bonnie (Elmer Bretz) of Plattsville, Gary (Carrie), Doug (Kathy), Nancy Olenio of Plattsville and Sadly; and his grandchildren, Jeremy (Lisa), Laura, Becky (Wyatt), Kristi (Steve), Justin (Karen), Taryn (David), Shelby (Dan), Sarah (Phil), Nicole, Heather (Andrew), Alex and Tim (Xandine). He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Peace United Church or to Sakura House would be appreciated by the family.
