He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Lee Davidson and Elva Davidson (Roth); and his brother Ken. He is survived by: his spouse Alexa Smith; his children, Lisa (John Sattler) of Plattsville and Shawn (Sarah) of Plattsville; his grandchildren, Hannah, Greg Sadlier, Timothy Sattler, Mitchell, Faith Davidson, Madalyn Davidson and Aaron Davidson; and his siblings, Gerald of Woodstock, Wayne (Cathy), Maxine (Jim Beemer), Brent (Danielle), Cheryl (Walt Cadwell), Janice (Matt Brietenstein), Charleen Davidson of Baden and Wanda (Craig Innes).

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
