He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Baer and Clara Baer (Bricker); his brothers, Clarence and Arthur (Noreen Baer); his parents-in-law, Robert and Dorothy Palmer; and his sister-in-law Eleanor McDermott.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kay" Baer; his children, Jeff (Debbie) of Plattsville and Chris (Rod Yeck) of Bright; and his grandchildren, Matt, Amie, Trevor "Tree", Ashley, Nick, Kristyn, Amanda, Cory, Sasha, Caitlyn, Patrick, Jamie, Claire, Ben, Lucy, Kenzie and Remy.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Peace United Church, Ontario Wildlife Foundation or the Ronald McDonald House - Southwestern Ontario and would be appreciated by the family.
