He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry McKinnon and Jean McKinnon (Cline); and his brother Gordon McKinnon. He is survived by: his wife Barbara McKinnon (Sayles); his brother Stewart McKinnon; and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Otten (Lambert), Jean Adams (Cliff), Douglas Sayles Esther (Diana) and Donna Jarvis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations would be accepted to Alzheimer Society, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation and can be done through the funeral home.
