It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Smith of Plantagenet, Ontario, born in Kapuskasing, Ontario, who passed away on December 9, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Hélène Smith. He is survived by: his children, Louise Hughes (Mark), Marc Smith and Julie Lacourse (Ray); his granddaughters, Jessica Hughes (Austin Wareham), Stephanie Hughes (late Ian Vandaelle) and Emma Lacourse; and his great grandchild Melanie Piemontese.
