She was predeceased by: her parents, Laurent Lavigne and Lucia Richer; and her brother André (Andrée Boudreault). She is survived by: her children, Jean-Alain, Chantal (Alain Chartrand), Luc (Marie Nathalie Moreau) and Nathalie (Éric Leroux); her grandchildren, Valérie (Patrick), Sara (Nicholas), Alexandre Chartrand, Chloé (Matthew), Karine Lapensée (Jacob), Lovanie (Isaac), Paul-André (Amy) and Maëlle Leroux; her great grandchildren, Emma and Thomas Chartrand-Brisebois; and her sisters, Nicole (Jacques Lalonde), Danielle (Richard Séguin), Annette (Marc Richard) and Carol (François Leclair). She is also survived by several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
