It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eleanor Martha (John) James of Plantagenet, Ontario, born in Nipigon, Ontario, who passed away on October 18, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Allen John and Martha Mary Wawia; and her siblings, Floyd Albert, Delvina (Donald Oja), Greggory (late Réjeanne Lapensée), Diane, Paul and Albert Hilton (Céline Ménard).
She is survived by: her husband Alfred Royden James; her children, Juna Merrill (Luc Lalonde) and Eleanor Winnifred (Brian Armstrong); her grandchildren, Justin Lalonde, Erika Grady, Travis and Mavrick Spuehler; and her sisters, Betty Ann (Barrie Johnston) and Constance (Lawrence Moore). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
