He was predeceased by: his parents, Antoine Gauthier and Eugénie Drouin; and his brother Réjean. He is survived by: his spouse Carmen Longtin; his children, Stéphane (Johanne Guindon) and Gina; his grandchild Ashley (Nicola Tourangeau); and his siblings, Murielle (late Jean-Pierre Léger), Diane, Claude (Odette Larocque), Sylvie, Thérèse (Earl Trudeau), François (Sylvie Viau) and Martine (Yves Gadouas). He is also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.
