He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonsus DeMarsh and Genevieve DeMarsh; his siblings, Edna (Jerry), Eugene, Maurice (Bernice), Alexander, Diane and Barbara; and his siblings-in-law, Lorna, Doreen and Bernie.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Anne DeMarsh; his sons, Bernard (Constance) of Thomasburg and Jeffrey (Rachelle) of Moneymore; his grandchildren, Andrew, Nicholas, Gabriel, Camille, Victoria and Evan; his brother Raymond; and his siblings-in-law, Audrey, Mary Jane (Paul), Gary (Lynda), Stan and Douglas.

In lieu of flowers donations to Saint Joseph's Oratory of Mount Royal would be appreciated by the family.
