He is survived by: his spouse Geralyn; his sons, Mark (Kelly) of Burlington and Andrew (Donna) of Orangeville; his siblings, James (Jeanette), Kathleen Girard (Peter) and Elizabeth Robb (Arnold); and his grandchildren, Megan, Daniel, Sarah and Sean. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place.If desired, donations to Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Building Fund or the Friendship United Church would be appreciated by the family.
