He was predeceased by: his parents, Soloman Robbins and Lydia Robbins; and his siblings, Carmen, Hazel Stone and Yvonne Griffen.

He is survived by: his sister Sharon Payette; his significant other Eileen Skillen; his former wife Violet; his wife Ruby Robbins (Howard); his children, Janet Robbins (Leon), Terry Robbins (Lydia), Verna Dubray (Tony), Irene Robbins Goodmurphy (Paul), Cherie Chartrand (Murray) and Tina Robbins; and his stepdaughter Julia Skillen (Andre). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

It is with great sadness that the family of Soloman John Vernon Robbins announces his passing on June 30, 2018 after a brave battle with Alzheimer's.
