He was predeceased by: his parents, William George Parlane and Lilian Parlane; his wife Lois Ann Parlane; his child Lesley Parlane; and his siblings, Brian and Alistair Parlane.
He is survived by: his sons, Greg (Kendra) of Pickering and Kevin (Sarah) of Carrying Place; his grandchildren, Kiara, Jaelyn, Jessica, Elliana and Mack Parlane; and his brother Andrew Parlane. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Ron's body was donated to Queen's University – School of Anatomy.
