He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia; his close friend Beverley Beaton; his parents, Arthur C. Miller and Susan Miller; and his brother Richard "Dick" Miller (Carole).

He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Debbie Miller of Wellington, Denise Tripp (Steve) of Trenton and Sharyn Hessin of Cobourg; and his great-nephews, Jamie Tripp (Freya), Brent Tripp (Laura-Lynn) and Brodie Hessin (Kate).
