He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Elizabeth. He is survived by: his wife Irene; and his children, Douglas, Christopher (Felicia), Patrick (Terry Lynn), Julie (late Terry) and Matthew (Joanne). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
