John Huizenga Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 6, 2021, at the age of 88, John Huizenga of Picton, Ontario passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Huizenga to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Huizenga and Patricia Huizenga; his daughter Janie; and his sister Jane Prinzen. He is survived by: his wife Georgina; his children, Rick (Kathleen) of Ottawa, Jacquie Dowd (Greg) of Sault Ste, Marie and Angie Abram (Jonathon) of Picton; his grandchildren, Quinn of Brett, PJ, Samantha, Dianne, Robyn, Rebekah and Holly; his great grandchildren, Lauren, Allison, Phoebe and Owen; and his siblings, Sylvia Hordyk (late Paul) of Newcastle, Sid (Sharon) of Picton and Fred (Ann) of Enterprise. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Due to restrictions of COVID-19, the family will hold a Private Family Memorial Service at the Bethany Christian Reformed Church, Bloomfield with inurnment at Glenwood Cemetery, Picton.
If desired, donations to the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
