It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Douglas Matthie (Picton, Ontario), who passed away on February 21, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betty June; his sons, Craig (Luba) of Enniskillen and Barry (Maggie) of Bloomfield; his grandchildren, Tarrah, Andrina (Matt), Raya (Graydon), Ryan (Sarah) and Ben (Jessi); his great grandchildren, Ilya, Tieje, Sawyer, Marshall, William, Brenna, Lukas, Maeve, Hannah and Nora; and his siblings, Donald and Jean Root.

Memorial donations to the Bloomfield United Church would be appreciated.
