She was predeceased by: her husband William Gillespie "Bill" McLean; her parents, Edwin Ernest White and Janet Gertrude White; and her siblings, Albert Leslie, Edwin Ernest Jr., Janet Gertrude and Winifred Francis.
She is survived by: her son Peter (Nicole D'Amour) of Ajax. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
To celebrate Joan's life, donations can be made to Prince Edward County Community Care for Seniors, Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation or St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church, Picton.
