He was predeceased by: his parents, Hendrik Brusse and Julianna Brusse. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette McCaw; his former wife Helen Brusse; his daughters, Tanya Brusse-Gendre (John Gendre) of Calgary and Shari Brusse (Andrew Park) of Ottawa; his stepdaughter Debbie McCartney of Picton; his grandchildren, Cameron, Syrina, Candace, Sean, Alaura and Jackson; his brother Rolf Brusse (Judy) of Oakville; his nieces, Catherine and Kimberly; and his uncles, Peter Brusse of Bussem and Mark Brusse of Paris, France..

If desired, donations to Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation "Back the Build" would be appreciated by Lex's family.
