He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Nora; his children, David Grimmon (Eileen) of Foxboro, Daphne Creasy of Picton, Diane Beach (Bill) of Centre Hastings, Deborah Hudson (Don) of Black Creek, Donna Grimmon of North Vancouver and Darlene Shantz (Bryan) of Black Creek; his siblings, Shirley Skratt (Joe), Raymond Bartman (Alice), Donald Bartman and Doris Bell; and his grandchildren, Tanya, Brad, Kelly, Holly, Natalie, Lorraine, Stephen, Christine, Kelsey, Grace, Andrew and Sondra. He was also cherished by his nieces and nephews.
