He was predeceased by: his wife Jean; his parents, William Dainard and Elizabeth Dainard; and his siblings, Maude Miller, Mabel Wright and Donald Dainard.
He is survived by: his children, Richard (Debra) and Karen (Ken Rushlow); his grandchildren, Tanya (Wayne Meinen), Michael (Julie) and Kendra Rushlow (Eli Thompson); his great grandchildren, Julian, Emma, Madison, Evan, William and Ella; and his brother-in-law Jim Moore (Christine).
