We are sad to announce that on October 24, 2022, Geertruida Webchiena Buikema of Picton, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hendrikus Vegter and Dena Vegter; her spouse Wiebrandt "Peter"; and her siblings, John Vegter, Pete Vegter, Harco Vegter, Henk Vegter and Ina Vegter.
She is survived by: her children, Jack (Debb) of Gananoque, Dena Kamink (Bill) of Consecon, Henry (Heather) of Trenton, Hilda Doornbos of Belleville, Otto (Sherry) of Picton and Betty Gardiner (Mark) of Milford; and her sister-in-law Elly Bierling of Holland. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
