Don Van Meer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Van Meer of Picton, Ontario, who passed away on February 4, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Don Van Meer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Lauretta Van Meer; his child Donnie; his parents, Archie Van Meer and Leila Vera Van Meer; and his siblings, Ray Van Meer, Betty MacKinnon and Sonny Kimmerly.
He is survived by: his daughters, Caroline Blackman (late Wayne) of Belleville and Jennifer Van Meer (late Jacques) of Scarborough; his grandsons, Anthony (Brandi), Julien and Gabriel; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin and Noah. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rushnell Funeral Homes - Picton (33 Main St W, Picton, ON K0K2T0). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel.
