He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Ihinger and Sandra Van Ihinger; and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his wife Ann; his children, Vanessa Van Ihinger (Jordan) of Picton and Hayley Ebbers (Adam) of Centreville; his granddaughter Sadie; his sibling Michele Parker (Mike) of Aliston; his niece Christine; and his nephew Otto.

Dave loved all the animals and it was his wish that any donations be made to the Loyalist Humane Society.
